Overview
Stress-free travel for every member of the family
Commercial airlines often send pets into the hold. On a private jet your companion stays in the cabin with you, boards without queues and settles in a calm setting. Finer Aviation arranges pet-friendly aircraft and helps with travel documents, destination rules and onboard comfort for dogs, cats and other companions.
The Finer pet travel checklist
- Microchip: all pets must be microchipped.
- Pet passport or AHC: a valid EU pet passport or a GB Animal Health Certificate (AHC).
- Rabies vaccination: make sure vaccinations are up to date.
- Tapeworm treatment: dogs entering the UK usually need treatment by a vet 1 to 5 days (24 to 120 hours) before arrival.
- Rabies titre test: required for some unlisted countries to prove the vaccine is effective before entering the UK or EU.
Rules vary by destination, so our team confirms the exact requirements before you fly.

Yes. On most private aircraft pets travel in the cabin with you, subject to the operator's policy, which we confirm when we quote.
What documents does my pet need?
Typically a microchip, rabies vaccination and an EU pet passport or GB Animal Health Certificate. Dogs entering the UK usually also need tapeworm treatment 1 to 5 days before arrival.
Are there size or breed limits?
Policies vary by operator and aircraft. Tell us about your pet and we will match you with suitable aircraft.

Some operators charge a cleaning fee. Any charges are shown clearly on your quote.
